Air Quality and Stack Testing
Through our compliance group, our field team can perform a number of tasks around characterization and testing. Instrumentation can be deployed for ambient air quality and meteorological monitoring or indoor air quality assessments. Similarly, point source and fugitive emissions can be characterized and measured.
Air Permitting and Compliance Support Services from CleanCap Includes:

Facility Stack Testing
Facility stack testing narrows down measuring points. Typical tests we offer in exhaust stacks are for identification and quantification of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP) emissions, Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) capture and destruction efficiency demonstration, compliance testing for criteria and non-criteria pollutants, and equipment tuning support and evaluation. We provide these stack testing services on both new and existing equipment. Applicable EPA testing methods are followed.
CleanCap can also assist in creating the required plans for proper testing and monitoring. This plan would include how the owner or operator intends to perform all necessary testing and monitoring associated with a GS project, including injection monitoring, performing mechanical integrity tests (MITs), corrosion monitoring, tracking the carbon dioxide plume and area of elevated pressure, monitoring geochemical changes above the confining zone, and, at the discretion of the Program Director, surface air and/or soil gas monitoring for carbon dioxide fluctuations and any additional tests necessary to ensure USDW protection from endangerment.
