SOLUTIONS
Separation Technologies
Gas separation, purification, and upgrading. From PSA to Cryogenic Separation, we tailor the technology to your project's needs.
Purification Methods
Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA)
Separates mixed gas into individual gasses in a non-cryogenic process under pressure. Uses specialized adsorbent materials like zeolites, molecular sieves, and activated carbon.
Applications: Methane recovery, Hydrogen recovery, Nitrogen Rejection Units (NRU)
Membrane Separation
Selectively separates gasses via pores in a continuous structure (often aromatic polyimide). Resistant to high temperatures and compaction.
Features: Few moving parts, simple operation, adjustable for gas qualities
Cryogenic Separation
Cools acid gasses to very low temperatures for liquefaction and separation. Typically used for larger volume applications due to energy and capital costs.
Applications: Nitrogen removal from methane (boiling point differences)
Solvent or Amine Scrubbing
Gas sweetening used to convert 'sour' gas (H2S or CO2) to 'sweet' gas. Uses specialty amine solutions or physical solvents like DEPG.
Benefits: Performs with high CO2 concentrations (up to 50%), consumes less electricity
